Dragon Boat Racing
We have two Dragon Boat teams, one of Year 12 students and one of Year 13s. Both teams compete in the Auckland Secondary School/North Island Secondary School Championships held as part of the Auckland Dragon Boat Festival. This event will be at Lake Pupuke on the 24th March.
The Year 13 team then goes on to compete at the NZSS Regatta held as part of the National Dragon Boat Championships. This event will be at Blue Lake, Tikitapu, Rotorua on the 6th April.
Students wishing to take part in Dragon Boating must be able to swim 150m and have transport to and from Westhaven Marina for training sessions.

Mondays and Thursdays, at Westhaven Marina, starting 11th February. |

Approximately 10 training sessions in total for each team. Times to be confirmed. |
| Uniform: |
Singlet - approximately $40. Can be used for two years. |

School royal blue shorts. |
| Cost: |
Entry fee for all crew members - $75 each. |

Travel and accommodation costs to attend NZSS Champs (Yr 13) are additional. |
