School Swimming Sports

All students have the opportunity to compete in the school swimming sports held early in Term 1 at the school aquatic centre
- Preliminaries Wednesday 13th February 9.00am - 1.00pm
- Finals Friday 15th February 9.00am -1.00pm. 

Entries are completed on-line via your tutor teacher and close at 1.15pm (end of lunchtime) on Monday 11th February. There are championship and non-championship events from which swimmers are selected, on times, to represent the school at the Auckland Central Zone Qualifying meeting to be held on Tuesday 9th April.  There are also class relays and each tutor group is encouraged to enter a team in these events.

Results from the preliminary events will be posted on the windows of the Aquatic Centre - all competitors (including those in relay teams) need to check these and confirm whether or not they have qualified for finals on the Friday.

Beginner Swimming Tuition

Our Beginner Swimming tuition programme is part of the school PE programme for Years 9 and 10.  For further information inquire at  the PE Office.  There is no charge for this programme.
