Headed by our Waka Ama Coach Fole Finau, 13 EGGS students travelled to Lake Tikitapu, Rotorua to complete in the NZSS Waka Ama Nationals. Our Waka Ama Seniors placed 9th out of 68 teams and Juniors placed 7th out of 67 teams in the country.
In other news, Waka Ama Leader Abigail Liufalani has been selected to represent New Zealand as part of the Waka Ama NZ Elite J19 Women's Team competing at the IVF Va'a World Elite Spring Championships in Hilo, Hawai'i on 13th - 24th August 2024.
