The OGA has a long and proud history. Established in 1921, we will celebrate 100 years in 2021. A book about the OGA history is being compiled and a series of events to commemorate the occasion is being planned for March 2021.

Welcome to the Epsom Girls Grammar School Old Girls Association (EGGS OGA).

We are the OGA Co-Presidents – Sally Blyth and Lynley Sheweiry – and we feel privileged to guide the organisation towards its second century. You will find lots of information about the organisation and its people on these pages.

OGA Framework

The Committee has placed importance on determining the OGA’s Framework moving forward. There is still further work to be done in this area, but we have clarified our Purpose and Strategies/Goals, as follows:

These goals align with the School’s values of “Courage, Compassion, Curiosity, Community” and its vision “Enabling students to be confident, active, resilient learners”.

Old Girls or Alumnae?

A discussion we are encouraging people to have is a suggestion that has been put forward to potentially change the name from Old Girls Association to Alumnae Association. This would require a Constitutional change and would not be decided upon until the Centenary year – but we wish to generate discussion and get a feel for what members think. Let us know!
